SONIC TOUCH II ultrasonic cleaning control and validation

Freeport, Illinois – SONIC TOUCH II is a new ultrasonic cleaning breakthrough in control, validation and documentation that will be introduced by Ultrasonic Power Corporation at IMTS 2016 in Chicago, Sept. 12-17 in booth NC-313.

SONIC TOUCH II is Ultrasonic Power’s multifunctional digital control panel which is taking ultrasonic cleaning to the next level by introducing the latest technology to the ultrasonic cleaning industry. Like the original SONIC TOUCH- it offers the operator a unique, fully-integrated method for controlling and viewing system functions like time, temperature, 7-day heat time, pump and filter, ultrasonic intensity, low liquid level and the SOVI- diagnostic system. But SONIC TOUCH II with its bright, water proof, 7"-high resolution TFT screen adds “Open Technologies” which includes functions like text messaging and e-mail. This provides the unique ability to constantly monitor the system and send alerts to a supervisor or even the manufacturer (if desired) for scheduled maintenance or troubleshooting. It also adds VNC (Virtual Network Computing) capabilities allowing control and monitoring with a smart phone or tablet and it adds USB support allowing recorded diagnostics and monitoring functions to be easily stored on a flash drive.

SOVI- (Sonic Output Validation Indicator) is an “on board” diagnostic system which uses software and various sensing circuits to monitor functions like transducer status and generator status. SOVI- validates operations and displays an error signal if a problem should occur. This is extremely useful for processes that require constant operational status updates.

SONIC TOUCH- and SOVI- will be integral to all of Ultrasonic Power Corporation’s standard console series, featuring Model 3218 (39 gallons), Model 4822 (90 gallons), Model 5424 (135 gallons), and its largest standard size tank system the Model 7028 (204 gallons).

Ultrasonic Power Corporation, the leader in precision ultrasonic cleaning technology, headquartered in Freeport, IL, offers a full line of standard ultrasonic cleaning systems ranging from bench top units (one to 54 gallons) to portable 39-, 90-, 135-, and 204-gallon systems. Custom consoles as large as 1,700 gallons are also available along with complete automated or manual lifting gantry packages and multi-stage systems, with wash, rinse, and dry tanks.
