Aurora, Illinois – The LSM-6902H laser scan micrometer, which has been added to Mitutoyo America’s sensor systems product line, is a non-contact, high-accuracy measurement system for measuring pin gages or plug gages.
The ultra-precise scanning motor in the LSM-6902H enables high measurement accuracy down to 0.3µm with consistent Gage R&R performance since measurements are non-contact. The standard output is RS-232C with analog I/O with an optional 2 channel Digimatic code output unit available.
LSM-6902H features:
- Accuracy of ±0.5μm over the measuring range and a higher accuracy of ±(0.3+0.1ΔD) µm over a narrow range are guaranteed
- Resolution: 0.01µm to 10µm (selectable) (0.000001" – 0.0005")
- Scanning rate: 1,600 scans/s
- Laser scanning speed: 112m/s
