KNCS-NBX Quick Jaw Change Chucks

KNCS-NBX Quick Jaw Change power chucks are available in diameters up to 1000mm (39.4”) and with the largest through-hole offered on any quick jaw change chuck. They are ideal for a range of aerospace machining applications, including spark arrestors, turbine rings, turbine shafts, and landing gear components.

Designed to reduce set-up times, the jaws on the KNCS-NBX Chuck can be changed in less than one minute. The high repeatability (centering accuracy) of the KNCS-NBX eliminates the need to re-bore jaws; and jaws are also radially adjustable and reversible, reducing the need for jaw sets. The chuck body and internal parts are case-hardened and finish-ground for increased rigidity, durability and precision. The KNCS-NBX utilizes an extra-long piston guide for high rigidity and high accuracy. Drain holes for vertical use are standard, as are additional tapped holes on the back to add spindle protection by the machine maker on vertical machines.

KNCS-NBX Chucks are available from stock in five diameters: 425mm (16.7”), 530mm (20.9”), 630mm (24.8”), 800mm (31.5”), and 1000mm (39.4”).
