The Ipol and Ibon Series Diamond Blanks and PCBN
The IPOL Series is a collection of polycrystalline diamond blanks for machining a wide variety of non-ferrous materials. Characterized by excellent wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, and uniform wear in all directions, the IPOL Series is applicable to tungsten carbides, ceramics, aluminum silicon, woodworking, copper alloys, and advanced composites such as graphite epoxy, carbon fibers, and fiberglass plastics. They are available grain size is from >1µm to 25µm and diamond volume from 90 percent to 95 percent.
Ibon is a carefully engineered composition of polycrystalline cubic boron nitride, which provides process solutions for ferrous materials such as hard or soft cast iron, hardened steel, super alloy, and powder. It is available grain size is from 1µm to 10µm and CBN volume from 50 percent to 95 percent.
