Toyoda Machinery to open West Coast tech center

Placentia, California – Toyoda Machinery USA officials are excited to announce the grand opening of the new West Coast Technology Center in Placentia, California on Aug. 19 and 20, 2015. The venture is an expansion of Toyoda’s effort to offer local sales application and service support. With growing demand for manufacturing orders in the U.S., the tech center will provide more accessible aid to serve customers’ needs and show Toyoda’s commitment to the region. 

Toyoda’s West Coast Technology Center is the next step in offering West Coast customers a more in-depth opportunity to view Toyoda’s powerful machining capabilities. The 4,100ft² showroom will provide custom demonstrations, product training and turnkey application supported by a local onsite applications engineer. 

“The West Coast Tech Center, was the next best move in solidifying a more supportive relationship with West Coast customers,” said Johnson. “Having our local distributors North South Machinery nearby will also help strengthen that relationship and further evolve the West Coast Manufacturing industry.”

Current customers, media, and manufacturing enthusiasts are invited to attend the West Coast Tech Center open house on August 19 & 20, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Machines featured will include a universal grinding machine, high-performance HMC, and heavy-duty VMC along with live cutting demonstrations. Lunch will be provided.
