Tamshell Corp. – a manufacturer of precision machined plastics and soft metals parts & components – has moved to a new, state-of-the-art, 33,000ft2 facility – gaining a 13,000ft2 expansion of its capabilities. The move to 545 Monica Circle in Corona, California was completed January 24, 2024.
“We’ve long outgrown our previous facility. This was a long time coming,” said Tamshell Corp.’s CEO Justin Pierce. “We’re a high-volume production machine shop so we’ve had to strategically plan this move to not disrupt our customer’s orders and ensure our staff is able to comfortably move-in. We made several improvements to the new facility as well and we’re very excited at all the opportunities this brings for us and our customers.”
Tamshell Corp. was founded in 1980 by John Hernandez and Art Pierce in Norwalk, California. John’s and Art’s vision was to build strong relationships with their customers by collaborating closely with them, diving deeply into their needs, and supplying the best in precision, service, and quality. Through the decades, they, along with their sons Michael and Justin, remained true to their vision which has allowed Tamshell to grow and prosper exponentially.
Today, with Justin Pierce as CEO and Michael Hernandez as COO, Tamshell continues to be a trusted partner with major entities in aerospace, defense, energy, oil & gas, medical devices – among other critical industries requiring precision machined parts.
Tamshell specializes in working with high-performance plastics in addition to metals such aluminum, brass, bronze, and steel. Their facilities house state-of-the-art CNC machinery paired with a skilled and experienced workforce. With up to 5-axis CNC milling & turning capabilities including Swiss-screw machining, 3D printing, and conventional machining, Tamshell can deliver from prototype to high volumes of complex, tight tolerance parts to print. “Precision is our strategy. Tamshell is Certified to: ISO 13485 and AS 9100D including ISO 9001. They are International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) Registered, and DFARS Compliant.
