Safran Defense & Space opens US defense HQ

Safran Defense & Space Inc. (Safran DSI), a pioneer in advanced defense and space solutions, had the grand opening of its new U.S. headquarters located at 4501 N. Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia. The event marks a significant milestone in Safran DSI’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the United States and unlocks a new chapter in bringing world-class technological innovations to the forefront of American defense and space sectors.

The Arlington headquarters will serve as a hub for Safran DSI’s expanding portfolio of high-tech capabilities, including electro-optical and infrared systems, resilient navigation, geospatial artificial intelligence, power and propulsion, and space technologies.

In April, Safran DSI hosted a dedication ceremony for its new electric propulsion and satellite communications manufacturing facility in Parker, Colorado. Serving as the Safran DSI Space Hub, the facility is a key venture in the future of U.S. space infrastructure. By localizing production and innovation, Safran DSI is ensuring a sustainable and reliable supply chain for its American customers and strengthening its ability to deliver mission-critical technologies for advanced space operations.
