Seattle, Washington – SABIC’s Polymershapes distribution business announces its exclusive new Jet Panel sheet, a decorative polycarbonate sheet that meets stringent flame, smoke, and toxicity (FST) and heat release requirements for aircraft interiors.
Produced with SABIC’s Crystal Cabin Award-winning clear Lexan XHR2000 sheet, Jet Panel sheet is a fully-customizable and fully-transparent material that complies with FST regulations such as FAR25.853, BSS7239 and ABD0031, and OSU 65/65 heat release requirements, as well as OEM specifications.
Jet Panel sheet delivers 80% light transmission in 2mm thickness, and comes in a variety of custom colors and textures that greatly expand design options for cabins and interiors.
Jet Panel sheet provides design freedom for applications ranging from back-lit signs, decorations, class dividers and privacy panels, to the design of large transparent components such as security partitions, oversized interior windows, trolleys, and monitor covers.
Available exclusively through Polymershapes, Jet Panel sheet is offered in minimum order quantities as low as one sheet.
Polymershapes is presenting its new Jet Panel sheet, in conjunction with other solutions for aircraft interiors from SABIC, at the Aircraft Interiors Expo Americas in Seattle, Washington, Nov. 4-5, 2015.
