Rego-Fix Tool Corporation announces the Rego Plus line of holders, the slimmest powRgrip toolholder, and Rego-Fix Capto toolholders.
Licensed by Big Daishowa, dual contact Rego Plus products are compatible with all Big Plus spindles and include a full line of ER and powRgrip system toolholders. These products offer several advantages to manufacturers working with high precision milling machines equipped with the Big Plus system, including better TIR, improved tool rigidity, increased quality of surface finishes, and higher machine accuracies.
Perfect for the aerospace, automotive, medical, and watch industries, the Rego-Fix slim-nose powRgrip 6 toolholder, or PG6, has a minimal outside diameter of 0.4" (10mm), as well as a clamping diameter ranging from 0.008" to 0.125" (0.2mm to 3.175mm). Because of its small, slim design, the PG6 provides less tool interference, easily machines tight pockets, and delivers high levels of productivity.
When paired with the company’s expanded line of HSK 40 E holders, the PG6 further enhances the capabilities of the company’s existing powRgrip toolholding system, which offers better TIR, improved tool dampening, easy presetting, longer tool life, and unparalleled clamping forces.
The company will also display its line of precision balanced Rego-Fix Capto products. Manufactured using new state-of-the-art measuring and grinding systems, Rego-Fix Capto’s line provides the highest precision and accuracy available.
Rego-Fix Capto is available in the company’s extensive ER toolholder line, as well as its revolutionary powRgrip system. The toolholders are balanced by design to G 2.5 at 25,000rpm, making them ideal for high-speed cutting and high performance cutting applications.
Rego-Fix also discussed the benefits of its expanded manufacturing plant at its headquarters located in Tenniken, Switzerland. When Rego-Fix doubled the size of its factory, it incorporated several advanced energy and natural resource-conserving features to help the company reduce costs, while increasing its manufacturing capacity.
