Digital manufacturing firm Prototek has formally merged the four business units acquired during the past few years. All five companies have come together under the Prototek brand. The acquisitions include Sac EDM & Waterjet Inc., Midwest Prototyping, ProtoCAM, and Prototype Solutions Group.
Sac EDM & Waterjet Inc. are specialists in waterjet, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and CNC machining. Providing state-of-the-art production and quality control equipment, the company joined forces with Prototek in 2021.
Midwest Prototyping offers a variety of on-demand additive manufacturing (AM) capabilities for aerospace, automotive, consumer products, medical, and design firms.
Having joined forces with Prototek in 2022, ProtoCAM provides additive manufacturing, bringing customers access to a team of engineers to collaborate on methods and materials.
Prototype Solutions Group combines the latest technologies with their industry knowledge and experience to offer 3D printing, CNC machining, urethane casting, laser cutting and engraving, and finishing, for rapid prototyping and low-volume production.
Headquartered in New Hampshire, with additional locations spanning the United States, the consolidation marks a significant milestone for Prototek as their strategic growth initiatives continue to expand in digital manufacturing.
“This consolidation allows us to provide more solutions to our valued customers,” said Bill Bonadio, Prototek CEO. “We understand that each project is unique, and our hands-on approach, coupled with our clients’ vision, helps to build smart solutions from innovation to scale. And our clients can rest assured that our processes and quality are among the best in the industry.”
Prototek’s updated website offers a full-service listing and fast prototype quoting.
