Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance to host conference

Early Bird registration discounts end Dec. 18, 2014 for region’s largest aerospace conference.

Lynnwood, Washington – Early Bird registration discounts end Dec. 18, 2014, for Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance’s 14th Annual Aerospace Conference, Mastering the Momentum: Managing Risks and Opportunities in the Global Supply Chain, which comes to Lynnwood, Washington, Feb. 10-12, 2015.

PNAA’s Conference is the largest of its kind on the U.S. West Coast and registrants can save $100 just for registering early,” said PNAA Executive Director Bob Uptagrafft. “Given the production rate increases and the demands that OEMs are making on suppliers, we expect interest in this year’s conference to be very strong,” he said.

With a focus on managing risks and opportunities in the global supply chain, this year’s conference brings dynamic speakers from leading aerospace companies to the world’s largest commercial aerospace cluster for two and a half days to help suppliers understand how to successfully navigate the increasingly global supply chain.

“As OEMs require suppliers to reduce costs and increase production, the global supply chain is becoming increasingly important,” Uptagrafft said. “Companies at home and abroad are benefitting from diverse partnerships and the sooner they solidify strategic partners around the globe the more competitive they will be over the long haul. PNAA’s conference will allow executives from local companies to strategize and make connections with aerospace companies from around the globe,” he said.

Mastering the Momentum: Managing Risks and Opportunities in the Global Supply Chain features commercial aerospace industry forecasts by renowned analysts Richard Aboulafia; product and program updates from top level executives at OEMs including Boeing, Airbus, and Embraer; and critical insight and analysis on relevant issues by industry experts.

Dr. Kevin Michaels, Global Managing Director – Aviation Consulting & Services at ICF International will open the conference with a look at the New Aerospace Supply Chain Paradigm and how “Rightshoring” is bringing a wave of manufacturing back to the United States. Michaels has over 29 years of aviation experience and is a globally recognized expert in the aerospace manufacturing and MRO sectors, and also has significant expertise in business-to-business marketing, customer satisfaction, M&A advisory, technology assessment, and strategic planning.
