
Port Huron, Michigan – MAPAL Inc. welcomes John B Hoy II as the company’s new vice president of sales & marketing for North America. John will be responsible for sales, team leadership, strategic initiatives, driving revenue as well as general management responsibilities.
Hoy comes to MAPAL with extensive knowledge and experience from the cutting-tool industry, having held senior management positions for various cutting-tool companies in the United States. He holds a BS degree from Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, Michigan.

Deryl Carter has been promoted to the position of vice president of MAPAL Inc.’s business development for the United States & Canada. Carter will be responsible for sales, market development, channel management, strategic initiatives, and general management responsibilities targeting customer accounts outside of the automotive Big 3.
Carter joined MAPAL in April 2015 as the regional sales manager for the North West. He has been in the cutting tool industry for 30+ years, has covered accounts all over the U.S., and for the past 20 years he has been in sales management directing sales people in the U.S. and Canada.
“I am extremely excited about my new position with MAPAL. As VP of business development I will be tasked with developing our sales growth outside the GM, Ford, and FCA markets. I look forward to being a part of the MAPAL family management team and directing our sales force into the future,” Carter notes.
