Wichita, Kansas – Mahindra Aerospace and Professional Aviation Associates, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, have reached an exclusive distributorship of spare parts agreement for the Airvan 8 (GippsAero GA-8) and Airvan 10.
Under the terms of the agreement, Professional Aviation Associates (PAA) will be the exclusive distributor of Airvan 8 and Airvan 10 factory parts for North America, Central America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East and will stock the inventory in its facility adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
“We are excited to collaborate with Mahindra Aerospace in servicing the needs of Airvan owners and operators,” said Vice President and General Manager of Professional Aviation Associates James Walker. “Our world-class operation and prime location close to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport enables us to provide superior support and responsiveness for customer requirements and critical needs.”
“This agreement is part of our strong focus on the customer and his needs,” said Chief Executive Officer of Mahindra Aerospace and Aircraft Keith Douglas. “PAA provides responsive parts and support on a global level. As sales for the Airvan 8 increase, it made sense to join with the leader in parts distribution.”
Mahindra Aerospace has led the Mahindra Group’s foray into utility aircraft and aerostructure manufacturing since 2008. Its utility aircraft business, based in Australia, currently produces the Airvan 8 utility aircraft in its class. Certified in 38 countries, more than 200 are in service. Mahindra Aerospace is also developing a 10-seat turboprop, the Airvan 10, which is scheduled for certification in 2015.
