Meet your presenter
George Schendel joined Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. Engineering Department in 2015. He currently serves as an applications engineer, specializing in CBN, PCD and SR Reamer applications. Prior to joining Sumitomo, George worked in job shops and mid-sized contract manufacturing environments. In addition to being a journeyman mold maker, George held the position of senior design and process engineer for a small arms manufacturer serving the military, defense, and commercial markets. Throughout his career, he has always enjoyed sharing his knowledge, and finds helping others to be very fulfilling.
