Shelby Twp., Michigan – Official KUKA Robotics System Partner Genesis Systems Group has earned the 2015 KUKA Robotics System Partner of the Year award for its innovative work in the aerospace industry. As the partner with the greatest annual performance/unit sales, Genesis outpaced 200 other partners in the U.S.
“The results in 2015 for Genesis Systems reflects a concerted cooperative effort between Genesis and KUKA as true partners and is the result of several years of investment in the aerospace, NDI/NDT markets,” stated Brian Dillman, director of partner development.
Genesis Systems focuses on the commercial and space industries with expertise in non-destructive inspection/non-destructive testing (NDI/NDT), material removal using laser ablation, motion systems, and dispensing. Whitney Moon, director of advanced materials processing commented, “Genesis’ Engineers chose to work with KUKA Robotics on aerospace projects because of their world-class quality, robustness of design, and accuracy. In addition, KUKA’s open architecture allowed our engineers to develop a state-of-the-art interface that serves the non-destructive inspection process very well. This open architecture was not available in other robot makes.”
“KUKA Robotics is proud to be a partner with Genesis Systems. Their accomplishment of winning this award is a reflection of the aerospace industry’s acknowledgement of Genesis Systems as an industry leader in the application of robotics technology and solutions for the aerospace market,” stated James Cooper, vice president of sales and marketing.
The KUKA Robotics System Partner network is designed to mutually benefit each organization’s users by extending the way customers can acquire tailored solutions with the major competitive and technological advantage of high-precision KUKA robots. The KUKA Robotics System Partner Network includes experienced OEM machine builders, system providers, application specialists, and expert robot integrators.
