Hoffmann Group wins three iF Design Awards

Three products of the Garant brand noted for their design and functionality.

The Hoffmann Group has received the iF Design Award for three Garant premium brand products this year. The awards were for the Garant ToolCar roller cabinet, the Garant Xpent 5-axis vice, and the hydraulic Garant measuring stand in the product design discipline. The trio was able to impress the 63-member jury and to prevail against 6,400 submissions from 54 countries. The iF Design Award is awarded once a year by the world's oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover, Germany.

The Garant GridLine ToolCar’s centrally lockable side compartment has a perforated panel, to which Garant Easyfix holders and hooks for the tool holder can be attached. It is optionally available with a power supply in the side compartment and with lighting. An ergonomically shaped push handle makes it easier to move around in the workshop – even under extreme operating conditions.

The Garant Xpent vice for 5-face machining has clamping modules that can be rotated through 180°, travel of more than 100mm without conversion, and a quick-change spindle. The top and front jaw system is a sophisticated design.

The hydraulic Garant measuring stand is designed for accurate holding and positioning of dial and lever gages. Its hydraulic central clamping system is wear-free. The large, rubberized clamping handle ensures that all joints can be fixed evenly. The specially developed plastic enclosure of the magnetic base allows a secure grip and protects the surface of sensitive workpieces.
