Bloomfield, Connecticut – FMi Chemical has formed a distribution agreement with Packaging Systems Inc. The Santa Clarita, California, based company will be distributing FMi Chemical’s complete range of Thermosil brand silicone aerospace sealants. Products include: Thermosil T7000 abradable air seal, Thermosil 4000 potting and damping compound, and new Thermosil 3001 and 3002 rapid-cure RTV sealants.
“Our distribution agreement with Packaging Systems is a win-win,” says FMi Chemical’s Director of Operations and Finance, Nancy Daigle. “It will allow us to reach new customers in market areas we have previously been unable to reach effectively, and we will be providing Packaging Systems with a consistent supply of high-quality sealants that are critical to their aerospace clients.”
FMi Chemical’s Thermosil T7000 and 4000 sealants are used in the manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of jet engines. Thermosil 3001 and 3002 RTVs can address a wide range of aerospace, manufacturing and industrial sealing applications where cure time is a critical factor.
