Erie, Pennsylvania – The Eriez HydroFlow SumpDoc is an all-in-one portable fluid recycling system that completely filters and rejuvenates metalworking fluids in a machine tool sump without interrupting production. By eliminating downtime and saving costs through re-use of fluids, SumpDoc provides a more economical alternative to a central fluid recycling system or batch processing.
SumpDoc is integrated with the Crown WP 3000 series “Walkie” pallet truck, making it easy to move the unit from sump to sump or building to building. With the industrial battery and built-in charger, the 24V Crown unit moves SumpDoc anywhere for up to 300Ah of operation.
The main features of SumpDoc include a sump cleaner (sump vac) for removal of all sludge and solids 50µm and larger, pleated bag filter, and housing for removal of solids down to 10µm, continuous flow tramp oil coalesce and high speed centrifuge for removal of emulsified tramp oil and fines down to 3µm to 5µm. Other features include ozone generator for microbiological treatment of coolants, coolant makeup system with proportioner, and electrical controls with touch-screen dashboard.
Onboard storage containers include coolant concentrate/chemical tank and tramp oil and centrifuge backwash tanks. All tanks include discharge or cleanout pumps for ease of dispensing or removing content through the simple touch screen controls on the dashboard.
