Novi, Michigan – EMCO Corp. officials have signed master distributor agreements with Motch & Eichele, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Crotts & Saunders, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to Dr. Stefan Hansch, CEO of EMCO Group, Hallein, Austria. EMCO is a provider of turning centers for production.
Motch & Eichele and Crotts & Saunders are affiliated with the HEH Group based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, reported William R. Eichele, president. “Both distributorship groups have been distributors of EMCO machine tools, 10 years and 5 years respectively, and we are pleased at the opportunity to further strengthen our relationship with EMCO and to bring more regional support and value added services to our customers,” Eichele said.
“The new agreement will provide precisely focused service, sales, and application support to customers in Ohio, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina,” said EMCO Corp. President Gary Hulihan.
Each distributor location can provide machine demonstrations and application assistance. Together, the two distributorships employ seven factory-trained service engineers and three application engineers to assist customers in optimizing their EMCO solutions, providing turnkey service and support for EMCO machines and UltraTech automation. UltraTech is also an affiliate of the HEH Group of companies.
At IMTS 2016, Booth 8780, EMCO jointly with automation partner UltraTech Machinery will demonstrate an automated turning cell with an EMCO Hyperturn 45 mill-turn, a Renishaw Equator high speed flexible dimensional gaging system, a part handling system, and a Fanuc CR-35iA collaborative robot with 35kg lift capacity.
The EMCO Group companies consists of an association of top European machine-tool suppliers (EMCO, EMCO MECOF, EMCO FAMUP, EMCO INTOS and EMCO MAGDEBURG).
