West Chester, Ohio-based DRT Power Systems LLC has closed on the acquisition of specific assets and liabilities of Anwo Machine & Tool Co. Inc. of East Hartford, Connecticut. The acquisition adds a ninth location to the DRT portfolio.
“The opportunity to include Anwo’s capability and customer base brings an expansion of our current offerings while expanding our presence into the rotorcraft market. Bringing industry-leading customers like Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Kaman, and Timken to our customer base was a contributing factor in our decision. We are excited to continue our strategy of becoming a market leader in providing precision aerospace components and value-added services with the addition of Anwo to our portfolio,” said John Gallo, president of DRT Power Systems.
Myron Wojnilo, CEO of Anwo Machine, also commented, “I am truly excited for the opportunity for Anwo to continue our growth. This acquisition is a positive step that provides Anwo with additional growth potential through financial backing, resources and capacity, as well as opportunities to further improve our overall operation.”
DRT Power Systems is a subsidiary of DRT Holdings, a privately held company with 13 facilities. DRT’s customers are involved in a broad array of markets, including: commercial aviation, business and general aviation, defense, ground based power, marine, and space.
