German Aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft and global aerospace and national security company SNC commemorate a significant achievement for the fleet of D328 turboprop aircraft known as the C-146A Wolfhound by the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This fleet of D328 turboprop aircraft has surpassed 200,000 operational flying hours, proving itself instrumental in meeting global mobility requirements.

The first C-146A Wolfhound entered service in 2011 and has become an integral part of the AFSOC inventory. The Wolfhound fleet is supported by Deutsche Aircraft, a subsidiary of SNC and the key OEM partner for all D328 type aircraft. During the past 12 years, the aircraft has proven its multi-role capacity, accommodating up to 27 passengers, 6,000 lb of cargo, or four medical evacuation patients. The Wolfhound continues to demonstrate its versatility and strategic capabilities around the world today.

In recognition of its 200,000-hour milestone, U.S. Air Force leadership joined SNC and the aircraft's maintenance team in a ceremony in Florida. This milestone was also celebrated at Deutsche Aircraft, located near Munich.

Nico Neumann, COO of Deutsche Aircraft, expressed his pride in this significant milestone: "We are honored to be part of this achievement, which highlights once more the robust capabilities and versatility of the D328 turboprop aircraft. This success is based on the dedication of our in-service team and the strong collaboration with SNC.

The next-generation D328eco carries the DNA of the D328 and will even further enhance efficiency with the latest technologies."

As a strategic partner for the sustainable development of regional air transport, Deutsche Aircraft is working with key players in the industry to achieve climate-neutral flights.
