Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Derco Aerospace Inc., (a subsidiary of Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Co.), has obtained a distribution agreement with Arkwin Industries Inc. as the exclusive provider of Arkwin materials to international customers effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Arkwin manufactures hydraulic, engine control/fuel system, and thrust reverser components for defense applications including fixed-wing and helicopter aircraft. With this authorization, Derco will distribute Arkwin products across multiple military platforms to all customers located outside of the United States and Japan.
“For over 35 years, Derco has built a global support network designed to address fleet-wide availability needs, combining quality original equipment manufacturer materials with exceptional service,” said Kaan Tuncel, Derco’s chief systems engineer. “Offering Arkwin material through this existing infrastructure is an exciting step to increase MRO and operators’ availability to quality parts needed to keep their aircraft mission capable.”
