Daher is strengthening its commitment to technical talent development with the inauguration of the Daher Learning Center in Colomiers, near Toulouse, France. This 1,000m² facility – featuring a state-of-the-art 650m² technical workshop – marks a significant milestone in addressing the growing demand for skills in the aerospace industry while adapting to the increasing pace of industrial programs.

The center can host up to 40 learners simultaneously, offering customized training for such technical professions as systems mechanics, assembly fitters, and cabin integrators. The programs range from short modules (1-3 days) to career transition courses lasting 1-3 months.

Since the 2000s, Daher has made skills acquisition and transmission a key driver for its employees and clients. With this new center, Daher’s goal is to address the shortage of technical skills while reinforcing its leadership in industrial services.

In 2024, nearly 700 learners were trained, with a target of 1,300 trainees for 2025, supported by this new infrastructure.

“At Daher, we are fully committed to developing and preserving the essential skills within the aerospace sector,” said Jérôme Leparoux, secretary general and human resources director at Daher. “The Daher Learning Center is designed to meet our internal training needs for current and future roles, as well as those of our clients – taking into account their specific industrial challenges. This center is one of the pillars of our comprehensive training framework, covering all our activities – from aircraft manufacturing to industrial production, logistics, and industrial services – with teams working directly on our customers’ production lines.”

Cédric Eloy, the managing director of industrial services at Daher, added: “With this center, Daher reaffirms its ambition to offer increasingly relevant and tailored training programs. The goal is to deliver the right skills at the right time and place to meet our clients' needs. The Daher Learning Center also collaborates with partners such as Aérocampus Aquitaine to develop specialized programs tailored to the specific needs of the industry.

In a competitive talent market, Daher is investing in the professionalization of technical roles, contributing to the ramp-up of the aerospace industry while providing high-quality training.

The Daher Learning Center has positioned itself as a key player in meeting the growing demand for qualified skills in the aerospace industry. The training programs combine theory and practice, enabling learners to acquire advanced technical skills and prepare for the sector’s rigorous demands.

By opening this training center, Daher confirms its commitment to supporting the development of the aerospace industry, particularly in France, offering a concrete solution to the shortage of qualified professionals.

As an aircraft manufacturer, industrialist, industrial service provider, and logistician, Daher today has approximately 13,000 employees for a revenue of 1.65 billion euros in 2023. With its family ownership, Daher has been focused on innovation since its creation in 1863.
