Bunting Magnetics names Steven Peiffer CFO

Newton, Kansas – Magnet and magnetic equipment design, manufacturing, and distribution firm Bunting Magnetics Co. has appointed Steven Peiffer as chief financial officer. Peiffer brings more than 10 years of experience to Bunting Magnetics, including an extensive background in accounting, finance, analysis and acquisitions.

Peiffer will oversee financial reporting, budgets, accounting, and human resources for all four Bunting Magnetics divisions: Bunting Magnetics Co. (Newton, Kansas); Bunting’s Magnet Materials Division, including its e-commerce site buymagnets.com (Elk Grove Village, Illinois); Bunting Magnetics Europe (Berkhamsted, U.K.); and Magnet Applications, Inc. (DuBois, Pennsylvania).

He will also serve on the company’s executive team and report to President & CEO Bob Bunting, who made the announcement.

Based in Newton, Kansas, Peiffer draws on 10 years of experience in accounting. Most recently, he was senior manager, Assurance Services at Allen, Gibbs & Houlik, an accounting firm located in Wichita, Kansas, where he provided guidance to companies to minimize financial risk and better manage financial resources.
