Schaumburg, Illinois – On March 18, 2014, Sparton Corp. officials announced the completed acquisition of The Aubrey Group, a product design and development firm in Irvine, California. The Aubrey Group will now transition away from its legacy brand and join the Sparton brand family to provide one collective and cohesive set of service offerings to customers – product design and development, contract manufacturing, and/or aftermarket repair and refurbishment services.
Current and future customers will now have greater exposure to a range of design and engineering services, as well as facilities and resources to transition into full production. While the total offering will become more transparent under the Sparton brand, the team in Irvine will remain with resources and expertise in product design and development. The brand change simply brings clarity to pursue mutually beneficial business engagements.
