Ascent Aerospace acquires Gemcor

Santa Ana, California & West Seneca, New York – Ascent Aerospace,  an AIP Aerospace company and integrator of aircraft assembly line solutions, has bolstered its automated assembly capabilities with the addition of Gemcor, a developer and manufacturer of automated fastening systems.

 

Gemcor systems are used in the sub-assembly of aircraft wings, fuselages, and nacelles with the company having produced more than 2,200 automated fastening systems throughout its 78-year history.

The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2016.
