Arconic Titanium and Engineered Products (ATEP) Minnesota operations won its first-ever Raytheon EPIC Supplier Excellence Award for overall excellence in performance, innovation, and collaboration. ATEP is one of only 33 suppliers from more than 10,000 chosen by Raytheon to receive an award for excellence in 2017.
“Arconic Titanium and Engineered Products’ operations in Big Lake, New Brighton, and Roseville have been leaders in component manufacturing, machining, and forming for aerospace and defense for more than 60 years,” said Jeremy Halford, ATEP president. “Raytheon’s EPIC award is a testament to the skill and dedication our workforce brings to the task of producing high-quality products that help our customers succeed.”
“It is exciting to have two leading companies, Raytheon and Arconic Titanium and Engineered Products, partnering to build innovative, mission-critical systems for our nation’s defense right here in Minnesota,” said Congressman Tom Emmer (MN-06).
ATEP’s Big Lake, New Brighton, and Roseville, Minnesota operations perform complex machining and assembly technology that transforms titanium and other specialty metals into high-performance, precision-engineered components for use in aerospace, military, and industrial applications.
ATEP produces titanium aero ingots and mill products, multi-material airframe subassemblies, and advanced technologies and materials such as 3D printing and titanium aluminides.
