Allied Machine & Engineering Corp. has acquired Criterion Machine Works which will become Criterion Allied Inc. effective as of Monday. With this acquisition, Allied expands its product line offering with more solutions for their customers’ hole making requirements.
Headquartered in Costa Mesa, Calif., Criterion has supplied customers worldwide for more than 75 years with modular boring system products that increase productivity and improve precision. Criterion offers a comprehensive line of modular boring systems, boring heads, boring bars, and boring tools.
Bob Wahlstrom, president, of Criterion Machine Works, notes “this acquisition connects Criterion’s products to a progressive company that is significant in the hole making industry.”
No immediate changes are planned for Criterion’s or Allied’s distribution systems, order procedures, or manufacturing process. Allied’s technical group of field sales engineers will service end users and distribution.
