Vector Aerospace Component Services one of the world’s leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services is pleased to announce that it has gained MAOS MIL Part 145 Accreditation.
MAOS is the scheme which the UK MoD uses to assess the competence of maintenance organisations providing airworthiness support to military registered aircraft. Vector's Almondbank site provides a comprehensive capability for the repair, modification and testing of an extensive range of dynamic and structural components for military helicopters.
'Our Almondbank and Fleetlands sites now both hold MAOS MIL Part 145 certification, which clearly demonstrates the high standards of quality, workmanship and skill that is instilled within our workforce,” said Tim Rice, Managing Director, Vector Aerospace UK.
