Registration is open for the third annual AeroOne summit, hosted by the Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (AIAM). Scheduled for Sept. 4 - 6, 2024, this premier event will take place at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester, Michigan. The summit will feature internationally renowned companies, speakers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, and thought leaders engaging in keynotes, panel discussions, and small group roundtables with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. The focus of the summit is to foster essential relationships for building a robust aerospace industry. Due to limited attendance capacity, early registration at aerooneshow.com is highly recommended.
"Last year we welcomed attendees from more than 150 companies across 20 states,” said AIAM President Tony Vernaci. “This year we anticipate another energizing event that offers networking, tools, and strategies for building successful industry relationships. Attendees will have the chance to connect one-on-one and start building relationships with some of the biggest companies in aerospace. If you already work in aerospace – or want to – this the event you don’t want to miss.”
AeroOne 2023 saw participation from top space, defense, and aerospace suppliers, representatives from the U.S. Department of Defense, and leaders from global OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing, and Tier 1s Eaton, Woodward, and Pratt & Whitney. Topics discussed ranged from electrification, the space economy, and digital engineering, to partnering with Tier 1s, sustainability, transitioning from auto to aero, and more.
The conference will kick off on September 4 with a day of roundtable collaboration opportunities and panel discussions. The day will conclude with a premium welcome reception that evening.
The roundtables were an overwhelming success among last year’s attendees. This year they will be limited to 80 participants who will collaborate directly with industry OEMs and large Tier 1s on issues they are facing in their business today. Participants will work together to develop real-world solutions to their biggest challenges and present their ideas back to the OEMs and Tier 1s.
Talent panels are being introduced to this year’s day one agenda to facilitate a much-needed dialog between industry, academia, and students regarding the talent crisis. These discussions will address the needs of industry, explore what academia can do to support their needs, and reveal what’s on the minds of students as they consider various career opportunities.
Days two and three will once again be full of innovative and highly informative keynotes and industry panel discussions that will provide multiple opportunities for networking.
A limited number of showcase display tables will also provide companies with an outstanding platform to meet face-to-face with key figures in the global aerospace industry. The displays are strategically located in a high traffic area to provide companies with a captive audience and opportunities to meet with all conference attendees.
