ADVERTORIAL
Werner Wenzel started his family business in 1968 and since that time, it’s developed from a small three-man operation to a worldwide leading manufacturer of measuring solutions. Dr. Heike Wenzel leads the company with the same focus on technological innovation and mechanical accuracy that has been our foundation since the beginning. WENZEL stands for the highest precision and most modern solutions for industrial coordinate measuring technology.
When throughput and productivity matter, our customers know they can trust WENZEL products for fast cycle times and increasing capabilities. The more complex the part or product, the more sophisticated and flexible the measurement technology must be. Faster inspection, through innovative probing solutions and efficient, modern software offerings, allow WENZEL to deliver value and productivity to our customers so they can measure more parts faster. This includes coordinate measuring machines with tactile and optical sensors, multi-sensor systems, optical high-speed scanning, and computer tomography (CT)-based 3D X-ray measuring technology.
Our customers use WENZEL Metrology Systems in the inspection lab as well as directly on the shop floor where they can be integrated into the manufacturing process. The CORE D is our popular 5-axis, optical coordinate measuring machine system specifically developed to measure small- to medium-sized parts with polished, reflective surfaces and sharp edges, such as turbine blades. Measurement points are captured and even your smallest radii can be measured in detail with a high number of points.
CORE D at-a-glance
- 5-axis, high-speed scanning, with a single clamping
- Shop floor placement, close to production, small footprint
- Range of sensors, configurations; no preparation of reflective surfaces
- Internal blade reporting, export in many formats
- No cosine/out-of-plane error, ISO 10360 standard for CMMs
In addition to our measuring machines, we also offer comprehensive metrology software in WM | Quartis, which is used extensively for the measurement and analysis of parts across many industries.
As the largest family-run company in 3D coordinate measuring technology, we place special emphasis on the quality and scope of our customer support. We strive to offer you the best personal support you can get from a global player. Think globally, act locally – that’s WENZEL.
Major markets
We serve many industries, especially aerospace manufacturing, automotive, medical device, defense, machine building, as well as plastics, and WENZEL teams have installed more than 10,000 machines in 50 countries.
Services offered
Combining 50 years of precision engineering with market leading options for metrology software, sensors, and automation integration, WENZEL specializes in flexible solutions to meet modern manufacturing needs.
