VMC With Minimum 50,000bps

The Revolution Series of VMCs offers a minimum block processing of 50,000bps in an 8-axis application.

The Revolution Series of VMCs offers a minimum block processing of 50,000bps in an 8-axis application. Revolution CV4020 with the MTI constant velocity control is 25 times more efficient than any control that exists in the world today. The Revolution CV4020 will process a part complete in half the cycle time, without any alteration of a customer's current part program because the machine operates at a constant velocity.

Because of the efficiency of the Revolution, there are additional benefits beside cycle time reduction. The Revolution CV4020 repeatedly provides significant increases in tool life, superior part finishes, less wear on drives and motors, plus major extension of the life of the machine tool.

The makers of the Revolution CV4020 state that it has the ability to increase productivity by a minimum of 100%, cut cycle time by more than 50%, increase tool and machine life by a minimum of 100%, reduce machine maintenance by 70%, and decrease finishing and polishing by up to 80%.

Standard with the Revolution CV4020 is a 17" color LCD monitor, 253 tool offset, CAD/CAM ready, mid-program restart, four-button optical mouse, 50,000bps, offset on the fly, and multiple processors. General positional axis is eight interpolated, spindle axis is one interpolated, follower axis is eight interpolated, and differential pair is one interpolated. Motion control accuracy is 15 digits floating decimal point. Feedrate override of 0% to 199.9%, rapid traverse override of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, and minimum resolution is 0.001 micron.
