Ono Sokki Technology, Inc. introduces the model BS-112 miniature linear gage sensor.
This gage sensor can measure various dimensions, thickness, curvature, eccentricity, inner and outer diameter, displacement, height, depth, flatness, variation, runout, roundness, distortion, deflection and position.
The BS-112 uses the precision glass scale. The main advantage of this principle is that you can maintain high consistent accuracy throughout its entire range vs. LVDTs.
The BS-112 produces highly accurate measurements of 0.00004" with a range of 0mm to 10mm.
This ultra-compact sensor was custom built to fit extreme tight quarters, where conventional sensors would be considered impossible to be used. It is ideal for mounting inside of machinery with limited access space.
To add to this sensor's ruggedness, a waterproof seal was added, and a dust bellow is provided for extra protection to enable accurate measurements in a harsher environment. This sensor is extremely durable; it has an endurance of more than 10 million reciprocations.
Since the BS-112 has standard threads, it accepts a large assortment of various types of contact points.
