Four-channel connector converter

The 10GBase-T to XAUI connector converter offers the bi-directional protocol conversion of four channels of IEEE 802.3 XAUI. The unit contains a power supply, two dual-channel 10GBASE-T to XAUI PHYs, Ethernet transformers, clocking, and a management data input/output (MDIO) interface. No MDIO communication is needed for the connector converter, but access over this channel to the PHY units enables users to change configuration or optimize the given links, and retrieve data for built-in test requirements. Power and ground inputs attach to the unit via a small connector and cable assembly.

Voice coil actuator

Linear unhoused voice coil actuators (VCAs) are available in three standard models with aperture sizes of 15.0mm, 20.0mm, and 24.9mm. The through-hole design allows an OEM assembly to pass directly through the middle of the actuator, offering reduced weight, fewer parts, and a compact product. Lab equipment that uses lasers, lights, wires, lenses, or tubes filled with gas or fluid can be inserted directly through the VCA aperture.

Tact switches

The IP67-rated KSC series SMT tact switches come in four models – the KSC2, KSC4, KSC7, and KSC10. Designed to withstand intensive use and up to 5 million cycles, they feature momentary action functionality; single-pole, single-throw contact arrangement; durability; rugged sealing; and resistance against steam and corrosive agents. The switches are available with a wide variety of actuators and with either J-bend and gullwing terminals, and they are packaged on continuous tape and reel in quantities spanning 1,000 to 2,000 pieces.

Surface mount electromechanical RF switches

SPDT surface mount electromechanical RF switches cover broadband frequencies from DC to 8GHz. They use compact surface mount packages and are designed for high-rel performance and rated for a minimum of 2 million life cycles. The package assembly is fully RoHS compliant, and the gold-plated mounting surface is designed to resist the effects of oxidation for ease of soldering.

Metal line switches

Metal line switches include illumination possibilities through RGB color technologies. Multicolor illumination is powered by an integrated power supply that accepts 5VDC to 28VDC input voltage. The switches provide seven ring illumination colors, and have a lifetime of 20 million operations. They are hermetically sealed according to IP 69K.

Fiber-optic input/output modules

Ensemble IOM-300 series fiber-optic input/output (I/O) modules are designed for complex image and radar processing and other high-bandwidth, low-latency sensor processing and networking applications. The programmable open systems architecture-based XMC modules offer streaming sFPDP, Ethernet, and other wideband protocols. Twelve channels can be programmed for data distribution, with or without user customization, via the primary FPGA device. They receive mission and system-level changes in real-time, offering optimized performance of open architecture protocols while preserving existing IP.
