Flat cable assemblies
Flat cable assemblies offer consistent electrical characteristics, space and weight savings, EMI/RFI suppression, and cable flexibility. Individual components are encapsulated in a shock-absorbent jacket. The flat cable can incorporate a variety of components including power conductors, controlled impedance pairs, shielded control wires, video conductors, multi-layer shielding options, and Cicoil’s StripMount fastening strip. Assemblies are available in continuous lengths, break-outs, custom shapes, cut to order, or as assemblies with connectors.

Modular platform
The IIC MICA modular platform of open hardware and software has a virtual industrial computing software platform based on Linux. The platform enables the visualization of applications on field devices without the overhead. All applications run in sandboxes in virtual containers that hold all required libraries and drivers for that application.

Bandwidth platform
Two plastic-packaged 50V/60W GaN devices provide power and bandwidth for communications applications. The CGHV27060MP supports a range of frequencies spanning UHF through 2.7GHz. The CGHV35060MP operates from 2.7GHz to 3.5GHz. Both of the 50V GaN HEMTs are compatible with industry standard digital pre-distortion correction methods to increase amplifier efficiency and their miniature (4.5mm x 6.5mm) plastic overmold packaging makes them an ideal solution for higher volume applications.

Waveguide attenuators
Waveguide attenuators operating at 110GHz that can vary the attenuation level from 0dB to 30dB over the specified band. They come in five models covering broad frequencies from 33GHz to 110GHz in five bands. Attenuation is adjusted using a micrometer, and the attenuators feature low insertion loss ranging from 0.5dB to 1.0dB and flat performance across a wide band and across various attenuation levels.

Transceivers
Three ISL7202xSEH radiation-tolerant 3.3V controller area network (CAN) transceivers provide serial data transmission between a CAN controller and CAN bus at speeds up to 1Mbps. Up to 20 transceivers can be connected to a single CAN bus to reduce cabling/harness size, weight, and power costs. The transceivers are low-dose rate tested up to 75Krad on a wafer-by-wafer basis and reduce system level bit error rates.

Threshold detectors
Three models of threshold detectors are designed for microwave and millimeter wave applications from 2GHz to 40GHz. One model supports a fixed threshold while the other two models support an adjustable threshold setting. All models feature a TTL-compatible video output response which is one when RF signal is above the threshold and zero when it is below the threshold setting.

DC power supply
B&K Precision’s DC power supply automatically recalculates voltage and current limits for each setting and can provide wide voltage and current operating ranges while maintaining high output power. It features independent voltage and current control knobs, cursors, a numerical keypad, and internal memory storage.

DC-DC converters
The TLB5 series of 5W DC-DC converters feature low noise of 10mVp-p and 89% power supply efficiency in a 1.25" x 0.80" x 0.40" package. The converters reduce electromagnetic interference while offering overcurrent, short circuit, undervoltage, and overvoltage protection. They provide 1600VDC input to output isolation and a 4:1 wide input voltage range.
