MC Machinery Systems Inc. plans to exhibit a total supply chain of complementary technologies.
The FA20S Advance wire EDM features a new M700 Series Mitsubishi control. The machine has the world's first 3D adaptive EDM control, which can analyze 3D data and recognize shape characteristics virtually eliminating transition lines in stepped workpiece areas.
The MD+PRO Cell is an automated unit that combines the high-speed, precision MD+PROII Wire EDM with a 4x4 waterjet Suprema. A Mitsubishi MELFA six-axis robot will link the two machines and showcase these technologies working closely together.
The EA12V Sinker has a space-saving footprint and a multi-position work tank, allowing the operator to set up while circulating the dielectric fluid. The E.S.P.E.R. II software can easily create programs for measuring, power settings for burning and orbital paths for finishing.
Mitsubishi's ED2000NC small-hole EDM drill's low energy consumption combines high-speed with low wear. The patented power supply generates no bullet nosing on the electrode, creating cleaner holes and quicker breakthroughs.
Also showcased will be the ED6000S CNC small hole drill, designed with speed and programming flexibility to satisfy small-hole production. The ED6000S offers a 20-position AEC (automatic electrode changer) for quick tool changing.
Roku-Roku's RMX-5 delivers the highest precision and productivity for five-axis milling. The machine is built to jig-borer standards of quality and accuracy. It features bridge construction with Meehanite GC for both the base and bridge casting material.
Roku-Roku's HC-548EX provides the perfect solution to hard-milling and electrode making needs. Its 200rpm to 32,000rpm integral motor spindle is equipped with HSK-E40 tooling for six times higher clamping force than BT shank. The Fanuc 31i-A5 processor with AI contour control features a Nano CNC system.
The five-axis Evolution waterjet uses a self-positioning rotation point device on the material to automatically maintain a constant distance from nozzle to workpiece. This feature protects the nozzle through a working range from flat work to a contoured interpolation of ±69°.
Mitsubishi will unveil the Waterjet 612, its upcoming addition to the waterjet lineup. Waterjet 612 will deliver new construction and ballscrew design to deliver high-precision capabilities. This machine will be available for purchase in early 2009.
The Consumable Products Group (CPG) will showcase its extensive line of OEM quality consumables. CPG products maximize efficiencies and increase EDM machine's longevity. The product line includes filters, brass wire, zinc-coated wire, diffusion-annealed wire, power-feed contacts and power-feed conversion kits.
