Swiss-type lathe with 2-tool turning

The SV-20R Swiss-type automatic lathe has a built-in B-axis for multiple tools. The 8-station tool block and backworking unit with Y-axis control accommodates a variety of driven tools for overlapping operations. The SV-20R can mount up to 28 tools in the working area.

The combination of gang-type and turret-type tool posts reduces cycle time by allowing simultaneous machining, including turning and milling. Two-tool turning improves accuracy by producing complex components in a single operation.
