1. What is Greenleaf’s approach to customer service that makes you successful?

Greenleaf has a long history of having customer service that’s second to none. We focus on offering a personal touch and building a great relationship with each customer. This can be found with every call into our office answered by a person, not an automated answering service. We want every customer, no matter the size of the company, to realize they’re important and we have a team ready to assist – from technical support to quotes to orders. Time is tremendously valuable, so we work hard to deliver great customer service quickly.

2. How does Greenleaf help customers improve productivity?

Greenleaf is dedicated to delivering exceptional value to every customer and providing them with tools to optimize machining performance. By using premium-grade technology, improved metal-cutting methods, and overall shopfloor expertise, our customers can produce more parts with less time, power, and human resources. We focus on tooling solutions that maximize machining parameters and improve overall efficiency. We like to keep it simple: 1. Better cutting tool materials 2. Better tooling designs 3. Better shopfloor expertise – all lead to increased productivity.

3. What maximizes machining parameters to improve efficiency?

Greenleaf’s team of technical sales engineers work directly with customers to help target areas within a process that’ll offer the most improvement. Understanding the equipment and machining process allows our sales engineers to help customers maximize productivity. Whether it’s a heavy roughing operation that can increase speed by converting from carbide to ceramic tools, or a finishing operation that needs improved tool life to reduce the indexes in a shift, we work hard to help reduce waste. In addition to using standard catalog products for improvements, we have design engineers with decades of experience in developing special tools that combine multiple operations to reduce total setups. Each special design is developed to customer specifications to help achieve sustainable productivity.

4. What does sustainable productivity mean to Greenleaf?

Sustainable productivity is finding ways to help manufacturers improve long-term productivity in processes to benefit them financially and environmentally. When we offer savings on total machining time, we’re helping reduce power consumption and resources. One example: ceramic operations don’t use coolant, eliminating the need for fluid disposal. Greenleaf is dedicated to maintaining a carbon negative footprint and helping other companies do the same. By delivering value-added improvements, we provide customers the opportunity to save money and help reduce their carbon footprint. This is a focus for Greenleaf and we’re excited to work with everyone in our industry to maximize their productivity, efficiency, and to help to protect our planet for future generations.
