About the presentation
This session provides an overview of the Amazon.com and Amazon Web Services (AWS) supply chains and logistics strategies starting with an overview of the digital supply chain strategy that underlies capabilities. For the Amazon supply chain, the session provides an overview of Amazon’s global operations, automation, and scale of the supply chain, and an overview of Amazon’s fulfillment center strategy including robotics. For the AWS supply chain, the session provides an overview of the complexity of producing and delivering equipment to global data centers. Building on this overview, the session provides guidance of how AWS services can be used to support the operation and forecasting of a digital supply chain.

Meet your presenter
Kimberley Hagerty is the head of the Americas SC&L professional services practice for end-to-end manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, and logistics. She’s focused on leading customers across all industries through their digital transformation journey on AWS. Hagerty engages directly with corporate executives and senior military and civilian leaders to address their strategies, missions, goals, business, and technical challenges as a trusted advisor for all things envisioned, aligned, and delivered to her customers. She’s spent the last 10 years defining and deploying large scale manufacturing and supply chain digital transformation strategies for the aerospace, defense, and industrial equipment industries. She’s a recognized industry thought leader and was awarded the coveted Top 50 digital Innovator award by Smart Industries. Hagerty serves on the executive advisory board for Smart Manufacturing. She’s a retired Air Force chief master sergeant with 24 years of leadership experience in all aspects of aircraft maintenance and strategic logistics, joint planning, crisis planning, and strategic planning.  She’s led aircraft maintenance organizations of more than 300 personnel. Hagerty has a master’s degree in business management with a minor in strategic consulting and a bachelor’s degree in transportation and logistics.
