The new SST 60 Static Clamping System is simple and compact, offering high retention forces and exact position clamping of mechanical components like pallets or workpieces. The compact design allows for applications in small spaces. Simple to handle and easy to clean, it can reduce setup times to a minimum. Attachment options include: fixed, onedirection free, during positioning; before clamping; and two directions, during positioning; before clamping. Clamping force is 18kN; clamping pressure is 80 bar; release pressure is 50 bar; and cleaning air maximum is10 bar.
Also being displayed is the GD rotary union with permanently sealed surfaces. This newly-developed rotary union also offers an integrated sensor that monitors leakage. The rotary union with leakage sensor, along with the analog position monitoring sensor, offers constant control of clamping systems, preventing costly damages to clamping systems or spindles. Maximum rpm is 36,000; maximum coolant pressure is 80 bar; cleaning air maximum is 10 bar; maximum air pressure (after confirmation) is 5 bar; and filter porosity is less than50.
