Wilmington, Massachusetts-based Ascent AeroSystems’ Spirit unmanned aerial system (UAS) is now available through the General Services Administration (GSA) Advantage website. Designed and manufactured in the United States, the Spirit is on the Blue UAS list of Department of Defense-approved drones validated as cyber-secure and safe to fly for government purchase and operation.

Spirit’s modular open architecture and integrated electro-optical/thermal sensors allow government operators to customize the platform for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), search and rescue, border patrol, and disaster relief.
