Heavy-duty solid end milling
CoroMill Plura HD solid end mills for heavy-duty roughing in steel and stainless steel now include two new grades. This generation of grades features the Zertivo 2.0 coating, which combines productivity with exceptional metal removal rate and the highest possible process security.
CoroMill Plura HD is an optimized solution for heavy-duty applications up to 2xD in steel and stainless steel (ISO P and ISO M), offering safe and efficient solid end milling. The Zertivo 2.0-coated grade further improves tool life, process security, and productivity.
The new grades enable a 30% increase in cutting speed recommendations for the primary ISO P and ISO M application areas, as well as secondary ISO K and ISO S materials, thanks to its optimized flute shape offering effective chip evacuation. The grades designed for stainless steel machining come in two variants: one with internal coolant for improved temperature control and chip flow, and one without internal coolant.
The standard assortment offers diameters from 2mm to 25mm, a 2xD depth of cut, 4 to 5 teeth, and a ramping angle of 5° or 7°. Tailor-made options are available within the customized solutions range.

Power chuck for heavy-duty end milling
The MEGA 12DS, designed for trochoidal milling with anti-vibration end mills, features high rigidity and gripping strength and is available in BBT30/40, HSK-A, C for metric, and BCV40 for inch.
The MEGA Double Power Chuck system features an expanded contact diameter of the nut to the flange, which provides the highest rigidity – as if the chuck and nut were one solid piece. This rigidity ensures heavy-duty machining without chatter.
The MEGA series high-speed milling chucks are precision ground and balanced, with all components specifically designed for high-speed applications. The MEGA 12DS series enables a maximum of 30,000rpm.
A secure, jet-through coolant supply enables improved surface finish, smoother chip evacuation, extended tool life, and better cooling and lubrication of tools.

In-stock gundrill programs
An enhanced single flute gundrill program has been designed to quickly provide companies with quality standard in-stock or customized gundrills.
Two stocked and standard product offerings can have gundrills delivered within 24 hours of ordering.
The SFGD Express program is for single-flute gundrills in diameters from 0.1250" to 0.7500" (3.175mm to 19.050mm) and lengths up to 48" (1,219mm).
The SCGD Express program is for single flute solid carbide gundrills with standard 0.5" steel shanks in diameters from 0.0355" to 0.1969" (0.902mm - 5.000mm) in lengths from 4" to 12" (102mm to 305mm), depending on the tool diameter.
The SFGD Custom Express program offers custom-design diameters and lengths on single-flute gundrills shipped within a week. These products are available in custom diameters from 0.0920" to 1.0580" (2.337mm to 26.873mm) and lengths up to 72" (1,828mm).

Lathe & turning center alignment system
The L-703S 4-axis lathe & turning- center spindle alignment system features the “S” variant of the compact and versatile next-generation L-703 laser.
The L-703S laser mounts directly onto spindle chucks and collets for aligning headstock spindle axes to guideways and sub-spindles and tailstocks on lathes, O.D./I.D. grinders, turning centers, and similar machines. The L-703S may also be used for guideway straightness checks during preventive maintenance and assembly, and for checking surface plates.
The L-703S laser is suited for turning applications from small CNC turning centers and Swiss-type machines to large-bed lathes. With a range of up to 50ft (15m), the laser can also quickly and easily check the alignment of very large lathes.
The L-703S system features the T-1296 5-axis wireless spindle & scan target, which can check all four alignment axes of a headstock spindle relative to the tailstock. The T-1296 offers a center resolution of 0.00001" (0.00025mm) and angular resolution of up to 0.00002 in/ft (0.002mm/m).
The T-1296 target’s data updates in real time, so alignment errors can be fixed easily and quickly without changing the setup. The new system aligns machines up to 70% faster than conventional methods, such as use indicators and alignment bars.
The L-703S system package typically includes the T-1296 target with 3" (75mm) angular lens and new S-1408 Lathe10 alignment software for lathes and turning centers. Windows-based Lathe10 uses an Easy-Guide system that walks users through spindle alignments in six steps and has a 4-axis spindle alignment screen to re-align spindles in real time. L-703S kits can be customized for users’ unique requirements with a variety of accessories and fixtures.
