PCD inserts for milling nonferrous materials

These indexable inserts with brazed polycrystalline diamond (PCD) cutting edges fit the Xtra·tec XT M5130 shoulder milling cutter and most M4000 milling cutters, including the M4003 face milling cutter.

The PCD inserts are suitable for milling nonferrous workpiece materials, including aluminum, aluminum-silicon alloys, magnesium, magnesium-based alloys, plastics, and fiber-reinforced plastics.

The inserts impart fine surface finishes in shoulder, face, and slot milling. The tools enable precise machining with reduced cutting forces and minimal vibration. They offer long tool life due to the hard-material cutting edge and short machining times from their ability to mill at high cutting speeds. The inserts can be used dry with emulsion of minimum quantity lubrication (MQL).

Broaching tools

REV broaching tools can machine simple keyways or internal and external profiles, such as teeth and splines. Common profiles include square and hexagon, with custom profiles available.

Motorized broaching tools are for use on live tool lathes. Designed for maximum rigidity, they offer fast processing time, long tool life, and excellent finish. Single machine setup eliminates the need for secondary operations.

Static broaching tools are for use on CNC lathes with or without Y-axis. They offer a patented eccentric bushing that eliminates alignment errors for machines without a Y-axis. The tools have a sturdy two-piece construction and are for use in boring bar holders on lathes and in collet chucks or Weldon holders on machining centers.
