BRINC launches LEMUR 2 next-generation drone

LEMUR 2 from BRINC enables law enforcement and public safety professionals to survey dangerous areas, assess a threat, and de-escalate conflict without putting individuals in harm’s way.

LEMUR 2’s proprietary autonomy engine uses a LiDAR sensor to create a 3D map of surroundings in real time and generate a 2D floor plan to inform law enforcement and emergency services. Obstacle awareness allows the drone to explore confined environments while providing control to the operator. LEMUR 2 is mesh network compatible, allowing for multiple drones to extend each other’s range in large buildings or underground.

Additional features include visual/night/thermal imaging, tracking camera, multiple night vision illuminators, a spotlight with strobe, 4K camera, microphone, and loudspeaker.

With 4G LTE-powered connection and BRINC LiveOps web platform, LEMUR 2 drones can securely stream a live camera view and 2D floor plans to stakeholders off-site.

Manufactured in the United States, LEMUR 2 is National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant, approved for use by federal agencies and contractors. https://brincdrones.com/lemur-2
