GapGun Pro2 with T60 sensor head delivers 3.5x better pixel resolution to measure small gaps and profiles quickly and accurately. The Pro2 model offers a 1 sec. measurement cycle in a smaller, more robust casing than its predecessor. Optical improvements enable the sensor to deliver sharper, more reliable data across a range of applications. Improved optical element mounting, reduced internal cabling, and improved ingress protection allow T60 sensor heads to remain in calibration when exposed to the rigors of inline production quality checks. T60 sensor heads are MIL-STD-810g drop tested and IP rated so metrology lab precision can be brought to the production line.
Traceability on the GapGun Pro2 delivers a complete audit trail for quality control professionals.
Horizontal turning center
Stealth EX-108II horizontal turning centers feature linear guideways, a 20hp spindle, an 8" chuck, and a one-piece thermally balanced bed designed with a 30° slant for high-speed production.
Large-diameter boring tool
VolCut insert holders support machining large-diameter holes in rough boring applications with short processing times and excellent chip control at greater depths.
The replaceable insert holders reduce setup time while providing maximum durability. Indexable inserts shorten process times by allowing the tool to remain engaged in the spindle while worn cutting edges are changed out.
VolCut is available with five insert holders ranging from 2.559" to 128.149" (65mm to 3,255mm) rough bore diameters.
