Panel-mount connectors

Deutsch 369 series panel-mount connectors – designed for mounting to an LRU panel, bracket, chassis, or frame – are Boeing BACC qualified and suited to aerospace environments, particularly civil aerospace cabin system applications. The electrical interfaces are fully sealed for use in areas with high levels of moisture, and the connectors meet low smoke, toxicity, and flammability aerospace industry requirements.

Noise sources

Coaxial packaged noise sources – in octave band and broadband amplified with integral isolators, and precision calibrated instrumentation grade – cover frequency bands up to 60GHz. They can be used as a reference source to measure system level noise for test and measurement applications, system and component level wireless testing, signal simulation, and evaluating analog and DOCSYS CATV systems to improve the dynamic range of analog-to-digital converters. Applications include simulation of RF jamming systems for missile guidance, a source for bit error rate (BER) testing for SATCOM and digital radio systems, and for Gaussian jitter for testing optoelectronic devices.

Multilayered conduit

PMA XR90 multilayer conduit includes sizes up to NW 70 and metric 80, with three concentric layers of nylon 12, each a different color.

With no wear, the multilayer conduit retains its black surface. As wear occurs, the center layer begins to show its yellow surface as a maintenance alert.

As more abrasion occurs, the inner layer turns red, which indicates maintenance is required.

EMI/RFI shielding adhesives

MB600S is an aqueous-based sodium silicate coating for applications requiring electromagnetic interface/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielding. It has a shielding effectiveness of 95dB to 105dB, from 1GHz to 2GHz, and is temperature resistant to 700°F. Solvent-based X5SC is an elastomeric system with electrical conductivity for bonding dissimilar substrates.

MasterSil 155, a graphite-filled, two-component silicone, fills in around contours in bonding and sealing applications. EP75-1 cures at room temperature and offers lubricity and non-magnetic properties. It resists harsh chemicals, bonds to dissimilar substrates, and performs from -60°F to 250°F.

Chip capacitors

F98 series 0603 resin-molded undertab termination-style tantalum chip capacitors are rated at 100µF/6.3V and offer miniature, low-profile, and high CV solutions. The F98 series 0603 capacitor has half the footprint of the 0805 component and offers equivalent ratings. It is free from the DC capacitance/voltage dependency that MLCCs experience and features SMD facedown undertab terminations for high volumetric efficiency, low ESL, and high PCB assembly density.
