
Nexa3D announced the acquisition of Essentium, manufacturer of high-speed extrusion (HSE) 3D printers (3DP) and materials.
Nexa3D and Essentium will offer customers tools needed to scale production and explore manufacturing opportunities at scale. Nexa3D’s market reach, with more than 130 worldwide resellers, combined with Essentium’s HSE technology, positions the merger as a transformative force in industrial 3DP.
Former Essentium CEO Dr. Blake Teipel has been appointed chief strategy officer at Nexa3D. Former Essentium CTO Dr. Elisa Teipel was appointed chief government officer at Nexa3D, leading their government business activities including special government projects and commercial activities. Essentium CFO Kelly Spivey was appointed CFO at Nexa3D.
