Milt Stevenson Jr., VP - Technical Director, Anoplate Corp., Syracuse, New York

How long have you been in the aerospace business? Since the early 1980s.

How did you become interested in aircraft? Going to Syracuse’s Hancock Field to see one of the first arrivals of a Boeing 707 in the early 1960s. I wrote a report about it in 3rd grade and have been interested ever since.

What is your favorite aircraft and why? I’ve always marveled at the A-10 Warhog due to its low altitude, low speed maneuverability. It was also the staple of the Air National Guard’s 174’s Attack Wing in Syracuse.

John Wagner, Facilities Designer II, ATI Materials, Cudahy, Wisconsin
