Rapid-fire facts
April 2024 winner:
Dominic Palazzolla, Avionics Simulation Engineer, Collins Aerospace, Binghamton, New York
How long have you been in the aerospace business? For a short five months. I’m a recent college grad.
How did you become interested in aircraft? From video games, my studies at school, but the biggest thing was going to the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum and getting to see all the different planes in person.
What is your favorite aircraft and why? The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter because it’s almost not a plane but a rocket ship with wings. Also, it was used by many different air forces and by NASA.
Runners-up:
Hans Millonig, Engineering /Technical Mgr., Trelleborg Aerospace, Chalfont, Pennsylvania
Fred Jacobson, Senior Electrical Engineer, ATI Forged Products, Cudahy, Wisconsin
