October 2023 winner:
Paul Gettle, Engineering Supervisor, Dynamic Aviation, Bridgewater, Virginia
How long have you been in the aerospace business? 21 years.
How did you become interested in aircraft? Growing up, I lived on the downwind leg of the local airport landing pattern and was always fascinated with the aircraft flying over.
What is your favorite aircraft and why? Vought F4U-1A Corsair. The inverted gull wing, the three-blade propeller, and bubble canopy combination prior to the hardpoints added in the D model, the spot-welded skins all make it unique and very streamlined. I really like aviation history and appreciate the toughness of aircraft landing on a carrier.

Tina Firestone, Industrial Inside Sales Manager, Rocky Mountain Twist, Ronan, Montana
